What's in a Name: Bungie Aerospace

Bernard Yee is the portfolio manager of Bungie Aerospace, the task of helping newly independent study to expand the boundaries of digital distribution. He has previously worked on everything from EverQuest, Sony Online Entertainment for Rock Band from Harmonix.

The name comes from two ways: There are many Arsenal in the space industry as when Bungie shuttle launch took place, a group of people in the study was in Florida to see it. So there are many fans in the study aerospace engineering and I think the name was born in part of that.
There is a Latin phrase, and I forget what it is in America, but is "to go boldly to the stars" [

Ed: "ad astra per boldness"

] and I think this kind of feeling personified Bungie said again independent. Could be cross-platform, which were not related to a specific console device and we have to do something new with a large IP address. And as applied specifically to Bungie Aerospace, the idea that there was a lot of platforms like Android and IOS and PC / steam and a similar degree XBLA and PSN, which have had different gaming experiences that are being developed mammals is almost under the feet of the dinosaurs, something interesting happened. Bungie is a very technical study is clearly capable of and the trajectory of these devices. We understand the things that make a great game studio Bungie on the console would be more relevant in this space, IOS devices. But it was not 100% transferable, right? Lessons learned in the console will come in handy on the mobile platform, it will be a different game experience. Perhaps gaming sessions are 20 minutes instead of two hours. I remember reading that Torchlight of Session game on average 20 to 30 minutes. I guess
Halo

Call of Duty Joystiq

average is much longer.
