Sony continues its efforts to revitalize the PlayStation Home. With its impending redesign Sony is trying to raise more interest in the indie content of the Interior. This could be a good thing, because until now I did not know such things existed at home, I have not been there in a very long time. Jack Buser, director of the social network for PS3, truly believes that "the easiest point of entry" for independent developers seeking to make content on the PlayStation.

teams can have, literally, a single person. In general, the team sizes range from 5-10 people. You can create a complete set in the sodium level in six months. This is not possible in the development of the traditional console.

While the cost of simplicity and relatively low development can make the independent development of similar initiatives trying, nothing really matters if the game does not receive the exposure. Buser cites 23 million downloads from the house as an indication that the market is big enough. These games are also promoted in the "What's New" icon on the XMB.

That's great, but the numbers Buser do not amount to a real market. If he said 23 million active users, then it would be another matter. I downloaded his home the day I got my PS3, I used it twice. I am one of those 23 million, but I was not a potential consumer.
