Friday game events guide

a number of festivals, games, discussions and meetings industry to participate this summer and beyond. Turn on your console, go out and ... play games in a large room with other players.

last week, I provided a list of upcoming games, taking in everything from large public exhibitions to intimate gatherings for developers and students of game design. I managed to lose a few key examples of the list, however, so here is a revised version.

Eurogamer Expo
a discussion on journalism Bafta games should not be something
here that we should really go. Take a look and get your paper ready!

Games Britannia

When:
Julio 2-6

Where:
Magna Science Adventure Centre, Sheffield
What:
A very ambitious event mainly for schools, workshops and lectures on game design of the leading figures in industry and Ian Livingstone. There are also some public exhibition entitled rehearsals, which explores the legacy of British video games, and will include many classic games to rediscover. Closely related to the campaign to get computers in schools, it should be an exciting introduction to the gaming industry

game development North: Reloaded
